Team Ascension NY has two new blue belts on the roster. Andy Asbach and John Swantek were promoted by Professor Salvosa on Thursday, May 17th at the Ascension HeadQuarters in Toronto. Both of these martial artists are great people, and represent Ascension with class and integrity.

Andy Asbach with Professor Salvosa. Andy has been training for a very long time in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and possesses great technique and attitude. His appreciation of the art makes him a welcome person in the community of blue belts!

John Swantek with Professor Salvosa. John has been a lifelong martial artist. For the past 3 years, his passion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has swept him up, taking him to competitions in Toronto. Mr. Swantek has overcome adversity, rehabbing from a very tough injury to attain his blue belt. His values and respect for Martial Arts make him a strong presence in the Blue Belt community!
